Dishwalla

Dishwalla es una banda de rock alternativo de Santa Bárbara (California), formada en 1994. Los miembros de la banda son Jim Wood (teclados), Rodney Browning Cravens (primera guitarra), JR Richards (vocales, guitarra y teclados), George Pendergast (batería e instrumentos de percusión) y Scot Alexander (bajo).
El nombre de la banda viene de un término de la India que refiere a las personas que usan señal de satélite ilegalmente para compartir con su vecindario.
contemporaneos al nacimiento del movimiento post-grunge, uno de los estilos de rock alternativo más populares de la segunda mitad de los 90s, con bandas como Collective Soul, Candlebox, Live y otras, como una continuación más comercial del Grunge iniciado a fines de los 80s en Seattle, con Nirvana y Pearl Jam como abanderados indiscutibles.
Su cancion "Counting blue cars" logró un éxito considerable, ocupando importantes puestos en los ránkings, así como llevándose tres premios, un Billboard a Mejor canción de Rock en 1996, y el ASCAP a Canción de Rock del año en 1996 y 1997.
Injustamente considerada como una banda "one-hit wonder", Dishwalla es una de las pocas bandas que ha sobrevivido a la onda del rock alternativo de los 90s, y se ha podido consolidar como una de las bandas con mayor madurez y vigencia de California que, pese a su poca difusión en los medios masivos, mantiene un gran número de admiradores.

Stone Temple Pilots

Stone Temple Pilots es un grupo estadounidense de rock, aunque una de sus principales características es la variedad de estilos musicales empleados en sus canciones, fluctuando dentro de la ambigüedad del rock alternativo de la década de 1990, siendo una de las más exitosas bandas vendiendo más de 17.5 millones de álbumes en EE.UU y más de 40 millones a nivel mundial.
Liderada por el  polémico y controvertido Scott Weiland en la Voz, Robert DeLeo al bajo, Dean DeLeo a la guitarra y Eric Kretz a la batería y la percusión.
Enmarcados en la tendencia grunge, fueron contemporáneos de Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains o Soundgarden, entre otros. A pesar de sufrir notorias acusaciones de copiar el estilo de otros grupos, Stone Temple Pilots sobrevivió a las feroces críticas y escribió su particular página en la historia de la música con cinco LP's autónomos y en progresivo desarraigo con las tendencias y modas musicales del momento.

Puddle of Mudd

Puddle of Mudd es una banda de Post-Grunge Formada en Kansas City, Misuri el 13 de septiembre de 1991 por Wes Scantlin (voz), Jimmy Allen (guitarra), Sean Sammon (bajo), y Kenny Burkitt (batería).
Es conocida por canciones como "Control", "She Hates Me", "Blurry" y "Psycho". Su álbum debut, Come Clean produjo cuatro éxitos y ha vendido 5 millones de copias a la fecha.
Según Scantlin, la banda se llama así por el sitio donde ensayaban cerca del río Misuri, que se inundaba y eventualmente se volvía un charco de barro (un "puddle of mud").1 El nombre original de la banda era "Muddle of Pudd", pero luego fue cambiado a "Puddle of Mudd"

Candlebox

Candlebox es una banda de grunge originaria de Seattle, Washington, formada en 1991 con el nombre de Uncle Duke. Más tarde el nombre cambió como un homenaje a una canción de Midnight Oil.
Candlebox vendió más de cuatro millones de copias de su álbum homónimo de debut, estando varios meses como número 7 en el ranking Billboard. Su siguiente álbum, Lucy, fue disco de platino. Así, la banda se consagró como la primera banda exitosa del sello Maverick, creado por Madonna.
Sus singles "Change", "You", "Far Behind" y "Simple Lessons" fueron su mejor carta de presentación.
En 2006 Candlebox se reúne con su formación original y se embarca el 1 de julio en una gira de tres meses por Estados Unidos. Además se lanza en mayo de este año un álbum de grandes éxitos con la denominación Best Of.
En 2008 La banda visita por primera vez Sudamérica. Chile fue su destino donde dio un pequeño recital para promocionar sus nuevos disco Into the Sun y Alive in Seattle
